Reasonable price, only fixed what I asked for. They didn't try to talk me into other repairs. Will come back in the future.
Worst experience ever. My car was stolen, wrecked, and left abandoned. The cops found it and it was towed here. The guy at the front desk was absolutely terrible. Treated me like I was the one who stole it. All I wanted to do was look at my car and get some info on how to get it back. He made me feel so stupid in front of about 5 people in the waiting room. I was a victim and there was no reason for him to be so rude. Definitely never calling them for anything!!!!
I have taken my older Ford to Jimmy and his guys several times because they always listen to me and treat me fairly. I feel that I truly do trust them to do right by me.
I had a mysterious rattle up font on my 2006 Scion TC. I say mysterious because two other mechanics back home in South Carolina couldn't say for sure what it was. Even after close inspection up on the rack. One guy wanted to replace struts to the tune of $700. On the "maybe" that they were the problem. I even had the front bumper re-installed by my local Macco because of the broken clips and connectors. Just trying to chase down the rattle. No bueano! I decided to take a big swind at the problem and have Lewis ave. auto repair go ahead and replace the struts. Earlier in the year they had done right by my 82 year old mother. So by word of mouth they we honest. After a couple of hours they called me back and told me they were confident it wasn't struts but sway bar control links. Saving me big time $! How often do you find a michanic turn a $700 job into a $225 one just because it's the right thing. Thanks guys!
